Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid PP Biaxial Geogrid for Road Reinforcement

Biaxial geogrid is made of high molecular polymer through extrusion, forming and punching before longitudinal and lateral stretching. This material has considerable tensile strength in longitudinal and lateral directions. This chain structure can effectively bear and diffuse forces on soil and is applicable to large area permanent load bearing foundation as a reinforcement material.

Product Description

Biaxial Geogrids provide omni axial support to granular sub bases and areas of weak or varied soils. These biaxial geogrids ensure any problems with pavements are solved by reinforcing capping layers and railway ballasts. These layers are reinforced with granular particles compacted over the grids, which penetrate and project through the apertures to create a strong interlock. An exceptionally minimal maintenance system the biaxial geotextile is a cost-effective solution for pavement problems.

Applications

In the construction of port breakwater and cofferdam, the first problem to be solved is soft soil foundation. The soft soil foundation is usually treated by a combination of sand cushion and plastic drainage board, but due to the heavy load on the upper part, the uneven settlement and slip can be caused. Laying Geogrid 120 and filament non woven geogextile at the bottom will increase friction, reinforce subgrade and soft soil, greatly preventing uneven settlement and sliding movement, which plays an important role in increasing the overall stability of the port dam.
