This is because soft rock has very weak anti-disturbance ability to the external environment due to its own soft characteristics, water-absorbing expansion characteristics, and crack development characteristics, especially for external disturbances such as construction vibration and unloading loosening. It also has the properties of easy weathering, moisture absorption and easy expansion and softening. 2. Disintegration. This is because the clay minerals in the soft rock encounter water, and under the action of water, an unevenly distributed expansion stress is generated, resulting in the phenomenon of cracking. 3. Expansion. This is due to the phenomenon that the volume of soft rock becomes larger under the action of force or water. 4. Plasticity. This is due to the deformation of soft rock under the action of engineering force, and it cannot return to its original properties after losing this engineering force. The reason for this phenomenon is mainly caused by the hydrophilic nature of argillaceous components in soft rocks.

Therefore, when road construction is carried out in the soft rock area It is necessary to comprehensively consider the problem of subgrade drainage. Only by designing a reasonable, scientific and perfect water system can we fundamentally avoid the problem of subgrade damage due to water or the problem of inducing subgrade disasters, so as to improve the The integrity and stability of the roadbed. 2. Soft rock also has an important impact on the stability of the roadbed. Rock is the main bearing body of highway, and its bearing capacity is directly related to the stability and deformability of roadbed. Soft rock itself has the properties of large deformation, low compressive strength, perturbation and plasticity. Deformation and damage of the road surface and roadbed will cause corresponding geological disasters in severe cases, thereby reducing the service life of the highway and reducing the safety of vehicle driving. 3. Influence on subgrade packing. Due to the low bearing strength of soft rock, which cannot meet the requirements of some highway fillers, coupled with the influence of factors such as unsatisfactory filling methods, excessive water content of subgrade, and low compaction, it is easy to cause subgrade settlement. Therefore, in the construction process, the construction personnel should replace the thick layer of soft rock or mix the filling with relatively large bearing capacity.


②Influence of soft permeable pipes in highway construction 1. Because soft rock not only has the properties of low compressive strength, large deformation, poor stability, strong water permeability, and exposure to weathering, but also has the characteristics of easy disturbance, plasticity, disintegration , Exposure to engineering mechanical properties such as weathering, expansion, hygroscopic expansion and softening, in the process of slope excavation, design, layout, construction technology, grade design, foundation treatment, etc. The requirements are improved, and it also has a very large adverse effect on the excavation and protection of the cutting slope in the soft rock area, thereby increasing the difficulty of the slope engineering construction and increasing the investment in the project. 2. It is easy to induce various slope disasters. Due to the special engineering mechanical properties of soft rock, especially disintegration, water permeability, hygroscopic expansion and softening, and easy perturbation properties, during the process of cutting slope excavation, external vibration, unloading and loosening generated during construction will be affected. The disturbances have accelerated the weathering and destruction of soft rocks. Moreover, if there is a period of abundant precipitation, various slope disasters will easily occur, such as landslides, debris flows, collapses and other geological disasters, which not only cause serious damage to infrastructure such as slopes, protection, drainage, and supports The damage will also affect the service life and normal operation of the highway, and increase the investment in the maintenance and maintenance of the highway.
