Floating Turbidity Curtains and Silt Curtains Useful Eco Friendly Oil Spilling Silt Curtain Containment Boom

Turbidity curtain, silt barrier, silt screen, or turbidity barriers, as they are sometimes called, are floating oil spill containment boom used in marine construction, dredging, and remediation projects to control the silt and sediment in a body of water.

Orange color turbidity screen are made of special grade high strength geotextiles that offer excellent water permeability whilst confining sediments and other materials withing the silt curtain barrier. The vertically suspended turbidity screen for dredging are stabilized with a flotation and mooring system. Complete with the necessary accessories such as floats, ballast chains, stay cables etc, the silt curtains are easily deployed during installation.
