2 Climate requirements for geomembrane construction

3 Laying of geomembrane
When laying geomembrane, the direction of the seams in the entire anti-seepage system is parallel to the maximum toe line, that is, along the slope direction. When laying geomembrane, the minimum number of welds should be sought, and the raw materials should be saved as much as possible on the premise of ensuring the quality, and it is also easy to ensure the quality. Usually in corners and deformed areas, the length of the seam should be minimized. Except for special requirements, on slopes with a slope greater than 1:6, within 1.5m from the top slope or the stress concentration area, try not to set up welding seams. During the laying of the geomembrane, artificial folds should be avoided. When the temperature is low, it should be tightened as much as possible and flattened. After the geomembrane is installed, walking on the membrane surface, moving tools, etc. should be minimized. Any objects that can cause harm to the geomembrane should not be placed on the membrane or carried on the membrane to avoid accidents to the geomembrane. damage. 4 Welding of geomembrane
The geomembrane is welded using a double-drive self-propelled geomembrane welding machine, which adopts double-track hot-melt welding. For the parts that cannot be welded by the welding machine, an extrusion type hot-melt welding machine should be used, and the welding rod of the same quality as the raw material should be used to form a single welding seam for surfacing welding; the welding process of the welding machine is divided into: adjusting pressure, setting temperature, setting Speed, welding seam lap inspection, loading film into the machine, starting the motor; there should be no oil stains and dust at the joints, and there should be no sediment, condensation, moisture and other debris on the overlapping surface of the geomembrane. It must be cleaned up before welding; at the beginning of welding every day, usually a 0.9mm X 0.3mm sample should be welded on site first, and the lap width should not be less than 10cm. After passing the qualification, the welding can be performed with the speed, pressure and temperature adjusted at that time. In the process of welding geomembrane, the welding machine needs to pay attention to the operation of the welding machine at any time, and fine-tune the speed and temperature according to the actual situation on the site; When the length of the geomembrane is not enough, it needs to be spliced in the long direction. The transverse weld should be welded first, and then the longitudinal seam should be welded. The distance between the transverse welds is greater than 50cm.
It should be T-shaped and not criss-cross; no dead folds are allowed when welding the geomembrane.
